Just after the Second World War, the “Costume Jewellery” conquered again the hearts of the women. Christian Dior dominated the fashion, and the same time Coco Chanel dared a return. The first success she celebrated in the United States.
With this choker Gustavo Trifari, the famous American costume jewellery designer since 1909, honored the legend of the 20s and 30s. The centrepiece of the necklace depicts the camellia, her favourite flower. It became the emblem of her style. During this time especially white jewellery in organic and geometrical shapes have been en vogues.
