Description
A beautiful bracelet! As casual and incidental as it is luxurious and subtle in design. It comes across as a simple friendship bracelet; a chain design with a simple outline, hinged links, and a delicately accented center motif that looks like a simple clasp. The snap and lock are beautifully integrated into the continuous design. Two securing eights are applied to the sides. It fits smoothly on the wrist, with no protruding lobes or grains to interfere with wear. The individual platinum links have been neatly crafted: sawn, mounted and set with single cut and brilliant cut diamonds. The stones are fully cut, the edges brilliantly contoured, the grains polished, the diamonds delicately set and well matched for color, clarity, and sizes. All stones sit very well, and none have been replaced.
The style of these delicate filigree jewelry, as if in lace, an “all in white” fashion, emerged already around 1890 and was in fashion up until the 1940s. According to its design and the cuts of the stones, as well as the clear matured style language, this bracelet can be dated around 1930.
