Description
Already in 1837 Charles Louis Tiffany opened his first retail location for stationary supplies and fashion accessories in Manhattan, New York. In the upcoming years, his company quickly evolved and only 11 years later Tiffany’s already dealt with gold and diamonds. In 1940 ultimately, his son Louis Comfort Tiffany relocated the retail location to Fifth Avenue. Among his customers ranked the European aristocracy and Hollywood stars of his time. And as is known even adorable Holly Golightly, aka Audrey Hepburn, the New York It-girl dreamt of Tiffany’s creations in 1961. Not later than that Tiffany’s was world renowned and up until today not only stands for fine jewelry but now as ever also for fine and elegant silverware, silver stationaries and more.
This modern small pedestal in Sterling silver by Tiffany’s is perfectly suitable for the gallant presentation of pastries, petit fours, chocolate, finger food and other tit bits of all kind. The shallowly troughed plat rests on a round, tapered stand. It blends in with every meal and surely ensures an everyday auspicious start à la ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’.
