Description

A delicate shamrockthe ultimate symbol of luck, hope and loveunfolds in this fine brooch as if embraced by an elegant tendril. A fiery ruby as a symbol of passion and vitality glows in the center, framed by three shimmering opal cabochons, whose iridescent play of colors is reminiscent of delicate flower petals. The delicate setting in 14-karat rose gold is set with fine Keshi and seed pearls, which give the piece a graceful lightness. The brooch dates from around 1900 and is a characteristic example of the poetic Art Nouveau style, which stylizes and idealizes natural forms. It can be worn as a brooch or necklace element, as a personal talisman with history.
