Description
Guide to the opening of the department „Geschmacksverirrungen“ in 1909 in the Landesgewerbemuseum in Stuttgart. In the result of this exhibit the concept found imitation all over Europe. The different types of “tastelessness” were expounded after three categories: material-mistakes, errors in construction and in decoration. In the appendix is an extensive list of press-reports, which appeared after the opening in germany and foreign countries.
This exemplar was shown during the exhibition „Wie Wohnen, Von der Lust und Qual der richtigen Wahl, Ästhetische Bildung in der Alltagskultur des 20. Jahrhunderts“ in the Wilhelm Wagenfeld Haus in Bremen, 7.11.2004 bis 3. 4. 2005, cp. p.10..
