Jenaer Glas
The brand name „Jena Glass“ was introduced so successfully in the twenties, that he accompanied his name-giver the company Schott & Gen., in the postwar era, from 1952 on, to Mainz. “Jena glass” came along from Mainz while „Saale Glass” was produced at the same time in Jena. Since 1994, the popular brand „Jena Glass“ is again into the possession of the company Schott, and the Jena-household-glass, that contributed to the fame of this brand as well, is produced again at its old location in Jena.
