The assortment aimed for “practicability” and „economy“. Middle-class fitments were ennobled for beeing „the good“, whereas „the nasty“ ones had mostly opulent trimmings. The modern designs of the Bauhaus era were added as well to the bad examples, e.g. tubular furniture of Marcel Breuer and Le Corbusier.
